I decided to search for news articles where the word GLAMOROUS was used. I wanted to know what 'professional' news article authors thought of this word. All I got were articles about celebrities, fashion, and other infamous women who found their way into the press through ill-flattering deeds.
But, where are the other 99.99% of the female population in this world?? Where's the young woman who just met her first love and baked him homemade brownies for his birthday? Where's the young career woman, graduating from college, bound for greatness in the corporate world? Where's the young wife who just successfully got a tough stain out of her husband's favorite work shirt? Where's the young mother who just survived her first day at home with the newborn? They're everywhere ... that's where!!
So, maybe I didn't find GLAMOROUS women in a simple Google search. But, I don't need Google to look in the mirror at myself, or just outside my door at my best neighbor friends (Anne & Aimee!!). I don't need a search engine to have wine with some of the most GLAMOROUS mothers in the world (Jennifer & March!!), nor do I need one to see all the GLAMOROUS women at my children's schools and after care programs.
I love all the women that have crossed my path at some point in my life; they are all GLAMOROUS women! I am dedicating this photo blog to all the GLAMOROUS women that have touched me. My hope is that I will be blessed by more GLAMOROUS women as they volunteer to donate a photo of themselves to me to share on this photo blog.
