I really was hoping to post this on the first day of the New Year, but alas, I was stuck in bed with a bug. Not the most GLAMOROUS day of my year, thus far! But, I hope what I have to say tonight helps put a 'smile' on your face!! So here we go, for my 2nd GLAM tip (1st one for the New Year!!)
My Mom used to tell me that it took more muscles to frown, than it did to smile. I'm not sure this is actually true, since no one has ever paid a scientist/doctor to actually count the number of muscles. Plus, some people's smiles are far grander than others, so what's the margin of error if the muscles were to be counted? Either way, smiling is just better for you. Just try it, what makes you feel more GLAMOROUS?!!
So here's the scientific reason for smiling ... did you know smiling helps to release endorphins?! When you genuinely smile, endorphins are sent to your brain that make you feel better, confident, satisfied, and yes, GLAMOROUS! Not to mention, how the recipient of your smile will make them feel! Yes, the recipient of your smile also receives a release of endorphins that is distributed throughout their body. The next time they see you, they are unconsciously reminded that "this person makes me feel good". How GLAM of you, to make someone else feel GLAMOROUS!
So, make it a point this year to smile more than ever! Not only are you becoming more GLAMOROUS, but you're ensuring everyone around you feels more GLAMOROUS, too!

All hail, my very first GLAM tip and it came out of my bathroom! Ladies, I'm going to talk about superficial beauty today, but in a good way, I promise! Your greatest (fashionable) accessories are your hair & make-up ... so don't skimp on this! I've become a pro at doing my hair AND make-up, all in 20 minutes or less. Today, let's talk about the hair!
So, for Christmas, I got a new styling tool called the NuMe. I found it at the Stonebriar Mall in Frisco at one of those kiosks I vowed never to get sucked into! Anywho .... I swear by this thing now and threw all of my straight irons and curling irons away! 15 minutes (alone in my bathroom) and my NuMe and I had this hair style! Super cute and fun ... I'll feel GLAMOROUS all day!!
